Beet, Basil and Feta Burgers

Beet, Feta and Basil Burgers
Makes 6-8 burgers approximately
Oven to 180 degrees
750g Grated raw beetroots (approx 4-5 medium beets)
150g rolled oats
1 onion diced
3 garlic cloves minced
handful of fresh basil
piinch of chilli flakes
salt and pepper
Sweat the onion and garlic in some olive oil on a medium heat for about ten minutes. Then leave aside to cool.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together all the ingredients. Season liberally with pepper. Watch how much salt you add due to the feta.
Leave to sit for about thirty minutes.
Shape into burgers and place on some parchment paper on a baking tray. if you feel that the mix is too runny, you can add some more oats.
Bake for thirty minutes.
Serve with some sunshine!
